SAFETY
You will find First Aid kits in our gym, easily located on the gym floor. At least one member of staff on duty will be first aid qualified and able to assist in case of emergency.

At Gillingham, an automated external defibrillator (AED) is easily located by the reception desk on the main gym floor. The device contains instructions on how to administer a high energy electric shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest.

SECURITY
Entry into Goldex Fitness is via our app, so we know who is in our gyms at all times.

For the security of members and our staff, and for associated purposes of crime prevention and detection, we operate 24-hour CCTV security.

Securely store your belongings in our gym lockers by using your own padlock.

HEALTH & WELLBEING
Members of Goldex Fitness are primarily responsible for their own safety and wellbeing. If you have a chronic condition – such as heart disease, diabetes, asthma, or back pain – you should consult your doctor before undertaking exercise.

Whilst exercising, you should stop immediately if you experience any chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness or generally feel unwell and seek assistance from a member of staff. Remember, there is a fine line between pushing yourself and over exerting yourself.

CLEANLINESS & HYGIENE
Our cleaning team maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene and kindly request that members also make use of the cleaning stations to wipe down equipment after use. Whether during COVID times or not, we will strive to maintain high cleaning standards in order that members can train and staff can continue to work with confidence.
